My 3D Designs!

I'm trying to make a render of myself-LOL!

Of course this is minus my glasses but the hair is just about right!

an example of something I made with Daz Studio Here is an example of a scene that I made with Daz Studio which was a free download. This program is great because it allows you to work with Poser characters even if you don't have the Poser program (which is on my wishlist). I made this scene using the free models and props that were included with this free download. But I want to be able to do a whole lot more!

It seems a lot of people are having problems with Daz Studio. I am too and that's mostly about where to put downloaded models. It seems a lot of people are having problems with this so I provide the following links to discussions about this very issue.

It's supposed to look like vases Here is a set of vases that I made using a 3D program. Actually it's one model of a vase that I gave different textures to. What I want to be able to do (amongst other things is:

  • Alter the look of the vases like giving one a pouring spot and altering the bottom part of the vase so that they all don't look the same.

  • add a decal (which shouldn't be very hard)

As you can see I still have a long ways to go but the learning process is supposed to be fun. It does get quite frustrating and aggravating at times because the best way to learn is slowly and by trial and error.

As you can see from the picture on the left, PlantStudio helps you to create 3D plant designs!

While I have enjoyed playing around with this program and learning more about it, I have managed to create some of my own creations - including the Pink Rose sample that you can download for free!

Another 3d landscaping progrm.

This program I also got as a free download! It's kind of complicated to learn but I'm learning.

If you have this program you can enter some of the Renderosity.com's Vue Contests but you have to become a member 1st - but membership is free! As you can see I have the Personal Limited edition of Vue6 which includes watermarks and their logo being included in the final renders! I talk about this more on my The 3D Beginner blog.
